Central Excise Officers on 3-Day Strike From Friday

About 30,000 officers of Central Excise and Customs will observe a 3-day nationwide strike begining March 29,protesting against the working conditions and delayed promotions. The Inspectors and Superintendents of Central Excise will observe a countywide 3-day strike against the indifferent attitude of the concerned authorities, All India Association of Central Excise Gazetted Executive Officers said in a statement. The strike call has been given in view of lack of promotional avenues and working conditions.
